THE BEST IS YET TO BE CHALLENGE – COLLABORATION

BE PART OF THE LEGACY THAT GUIDES AND INSPIRES FUTURE DREAMERS AND DOERS

YOU ARE INVITED TO HELP CREATE

‘The Best Is Yet To Be Challenge’

A Guide Dedicated to Future DREAMERS and DOERS

The Best Is Yet To Be Challenge is based upon the My Dream For Business Scrapbook created while I was a participant in The Tom Peters Leadership Challenge Training and Certification. After we listened to the I HAVE A DREAM speech by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., our homework was to share our dreams for business/ leaders. The facilitator kept a copy of my scrapbook to use in future training and said “Fern, there’s a book in there!”

Here are a few of the PASSIONATE DOERS who will be featured in ‘THE BEST IS YET TO BE CHALLENGE’. They have dedicated their lives to the LOVE of what they get to do and CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FUTURE DREAMERS AND DOERS TO LIVE THEIR BEST LIVES:

  • Jesse White, Secretary of State and Founder of The Jesse White Tumblers
  • Thadeus Wong, Co-Founder of @Properties
  • Greg Muzzillo, Founder of PROforma
  • Sidney A. Friedman, CLU, RHU and former Chairman of the Board of Corporate Financial Services, Past President of the International Top of the Table (Passed away 11-13-03)

We look forward to receiving your dreams and stories for the ‘THE BEST IS YET TO BE CHALLENGE’.

  1. What are YOUR DREAMS for what is possible as leaders in business?
  2. What can organizations do better to create great places to work?
  3. Tell us about a person who inspires you (others) to be the best you can be. What do they do?
  4. What kind of project have you worked on that made a difference for people – made you feel proud? (work or community based)

Following are two of the 14 dreams from my scrapbook. I will be adding additional content to support my dreams.

I have a dream…That when we walk through the doors of our homes or businesses we are ALL LOVED, respected, share joy, laughter, a little kindness, and something of meaning and value to those who pass our way THIS MOMENT.

I have a dream that every manager practices effective, timely RECOGNITION – learns how to authentically deliver an acknowledgment and that LITTLE THINGS COUNT BIG TIME.

I will be adding supportive moments of recognition to support the importance of Recognition and what it means to people. ADD YOUR EXAMPLES AND PHOTOS to show how Recognition Matters.

If you are an artist OR photographer:

  • Share an image you created that shows a person or group making a difference – celebrating a moment of pride.
  • Create a caption.
  • Give us permission to use it in our guide for FUTURE DREAMERS and DOERS!
